1. What Velora Does

Velora is an AI character chat platform that allows users to:

• Chat with AI personalities and virtual companions
• Create custom AI characters
• Engage in roleplay and storytelling
• Use voice and text conversations
• Explore community-created characters

All characters and conversations are AI-generated and fictional.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: (a) Information you provide, (b) Information collected automatically, (c) Information from third parties.

A) Information You Provide

Account & Profile Data (optional):

• Name / username
• Email address
• Profile photo or avatar
• Login method (Google, Apple, etc.)

Character & Chat Data:

• Messages you send to AI characters
• Roleplay or story inputs
• Character creation details
• Personality settings you design

Support Communications:

• Emails or messages sent to support
• Feedback, bug reports, attachments

Subscription & Purchase Data: Transaction metadata, plan type, renewal dates. Payments are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. We do not store card or banking details.

B) Information Collected Automatically

Device & Technical Data: IP address, Device ID / Advertising ID, device model & manufacturer, operating system version, app version & logs.

Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, session duration, interaction patterns.

Analytics & Performance: Crash reports, diagnostics, performance logs.

C) Permissions-Based Data (Only If Allowed)

Microphone / Voice (Optional) — Used for voice conversations with AI, speech-to-text input, and voice message features. Voice data is processed to generate AI responses.

Storage / Media (Optional) — Used to upload profile images and share media in chats (if enabled).

Contacts (Optional) — If enabled, we may access limited contact info to enable invite features, suggest connections, prevent duplicate accounts, and improve safety systems. The app works without this permission.

Location (Optional) — We may collect GPS or network-based location to personalize content, improve language/region relevance, and enhance security monitoring. We do not publicly share precise location.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide AI conversations
• Operate and maintain the Service
• Personalize character responses
• Save chat history & preferences
• Improve AI models and safety
• Monitor abuse or misuse
• Provide customer support
• Send updates or service notices
• Conduct analytics and research

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your region, we process data under:

• Contract — providing app services

We do NOT sell personal data. We may share limited data with:

A) Service Providers

Trusted vendors for cloud hosting, AI infrastructure, analytics, customer support tools, and payment processors. They process data only on our behalf.

B) Advertising & Marketing Partners

We may share limited identifiers such as Advertising ID, device data, and IP address for ad measurement and campaign performance.

C) Legal & Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information if required by law, court orders / government requests, to prevent fraud or harm, or to enforce our Terms.

D) Business Transfers

If Unibit is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may transfer as part of the business assets.

6. AI Conversations & Generated Content

• Chats are processed by AI systems
• Conversations may be stored to improve quality & safety
• AI responses are automated and fictional
• They do not represent professional advice or real individuals

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for account operation, chat functionality, legal compliance, and security monitoring. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Choices & Controls

A) Account Controls

• Update profile info
• Delete chats
• Delete account

B) Permissions

Revoke anytime via device settings: Microphone, Contacts, Location, Storage.

C) Marketing Communications

Unsubscribe via email links or contact support to opt out.

D) Advertising Preferences

Reset or limit Ad ID in device settings.

E) Access / Deletion Requests

Request via Section 14 contact email.

9. Information About Non-Users

If users create characters or chats referencing real individuals, content is user-generated + AI-generated and may not reflect real facts. Non-users may request removal by contacting us with proof of identity.

10. Security

We implement safeguards including encryption in transit, secure servers, access restrictions, and monitoring systems. However, no platform is 100% secure.

11. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in India or other countries where vendors operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Children's Privacy

Velora is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If discovered, accounts will be removed.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date. Continued use means acceptance.
